MEET SAM
Samantha Baughman is a self taught cookie artist and educator based in Murfreesboro, TN. After leaving the corporate world to start a family, Sam found herself in the kitchen often, exploring a new creative outlet. She started out with cakes, but in 2012 stumbled upon decorated cookies and never looked back.
There were no classes she could take at the time so she taught herself everything through trial and error, and has since made thousands of beautifully decorated cookies.

In 2014, Sam officially started her home business, selling custom cookies for all occasions. As her business grew, she realized more and more people were wanting to learn the art of decorating with royal icing, and she decided to start offering classes.
It was in teaching she found her true cookie passion, and she now teaches hands on cookie classes of all skill levels across the U.S.
Sam is an award winning cookie artist, who also appeared on the Food Networks' Christmas Cookie Challenge! She also runs Operation Cookie Takeover, a project that sends thousands of cookies all over the world to our deployed troops. She's a 6 time CookieCon Instructor, and is currently in the process of developing online courses.
When not designing cookies or teaching classes, Sam loves to spend time in the kitchen cooking and baking for her family. She also is an avid rock climber, hiker, and lover of nature.
